Love pecans. Deathly allergic to hazelnuts tho. Even the smell makes my throat itch and twinge even tho I like the smell. (esp. hazelnut coffee, that smells awesome)

@kellydna - I thought "filberts" were a different nut entirely (oops) turns out (after some checking) all this time I was thinking Brazil nuts (also allergic) were "filberts". Educational TT!

'Filbert' makes me pause, too. They are from hazel bushes. The woods here are thick with the wild ones. 'Filbert' sounds like a cartoon character.
