I had a lot of favorite vacations, but my trip to Seattle, Portland, the Oregon Coast, Mt St Helen's and Mt Rainier is one of my favs. Matt was doing his post-doc in eastern Washington State and I came out to visit over 4th of July break. We drove over the Cascade Mts and had a great time! The first of many long road trips.

Well, here's the deal. I have my large collection of summer shoes in my closet right now. My large collection of winter shoes is packed away. I have a pair of kayaking Teva's in my husband's car, rain boots and snow boots in the hall closet. This is just too overwhelming for the shoe whore that is I.

My ability to draw spacial things sucks. Anyway, our house is a split level. The main floor (living, dining, kitchen, porch) are when you first walk in (bottom of the hallway). There are stairs going up and down from the hallway. The upstairs and downstairs are above each other. Below the main floor there's a basement that spans the same area (sans the porch). The two bedrooms on the far right are over the garage.

One of my favorite bands of ALL TIME! They only put out two albums in the early 90's, but had enough of a cult following to have a box set come out in the naughts with alternative takes, live tracks, demos and outtakes.
