The Organ Mountains...? You live in or near El Paso TX then? I spent 3 memorable months there in the mid-1980s. I was struck by how SOFT the rock is-- you can punch it and it crumbles like a sandcastle. Have you been to the Hueco park nearby? From the air, I remember being struck with the understanding that the US side of El Paso / Juarez was almost entirely lit by incandescent electric bulbs (yellow) while the Mexican side was lit blue with gas lamps...and lightning under the clouds looked like kids under a blanket with a flashlight.

Nail polish spilled on the carpet? Spray it with hairspray, then poor rubbing alcohol on a rag and rub the nail polish out. It takes a lot of rubbing, but it comes out. My wife recently found this out after a bottle of nail polish broke over the carpet.

"The boy's name Jason \j(a)-son\ is pronounced JAY-sun. It is of Greek and Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Jason is "healer; the Lord is salvation". Variant of Joshua. Biblical: an early Christian associate of Paul. Greek mythology: Jason was leader of a group of warrior heroes called the Argonauts."
I've been told that I was named from Jason of Greek mythology. All three of my names at birth are of Greek origin, but my heritage is western European ethnicity, with nary a drop of Greek blood that I know of.
Yes, I do like my name.

What is now "Keyboarding" was call "Typing" when I was in high school. We actually had to push a lever at the end of every line to return the carriage (that is the assembly that held the paper :). My class had a few electric typewriters that we rotated through. The other half was the old manual typewriter - although not as old as this pic.
