What is now "Keyboarding" was call "Typing" when I was in high school. We actually had to push a lever at the end of every line to return the carriage (that is the assembly that held the paper :). My class had a few electric typewriters that we rotated through. The other half was the old manual typewriter - although not as old as this pic.
