I took this class in high school, too. My dad had all this when I was growing up. He drew up the plans and actually built our house as well. I loved it when he would pull the plans out and show us our new rooms! And I will always remember where my boom box was by the skill saw in the living room when it was bare bones :)

It makes me sad that I believe this is something hard to find, yet not impossible. I am person #7 on this list that still has manners! Yea manners! However, I do think that common sense has gone right out the window!

This is so bitchen! I have always wanted to blow glass but haven't yet. I have blown sugar, which is similar. Its very tricky and a little dangerous, but very cool nonetheless.

Dolce is my constantly moving paper weight! Hard to see, but she is sitting on a stack of papers. This is our morning routine, I check my computer and she jumps on the desk and helps.

I had called off my wedding, moved back in with my parents, and was working baker shift at 4 am 45 miles away. It was the worst experience I have ever gone through, and the right decision. 5 years later and I have no regrets.

Roku is a box you purchase with a one time fee, my boyfriend got it for me at least a year ago, for $100. I don't know how much they are now, but it will stream thru the Wii if you have that. It does stream thru Netflix, and then you also have other "channels" to pick from like TWIT, TWIF, Amazon, etc. The instant streaming is not for every movie, some you still have to mail back but they are working on getting everything to be streamed. Its the way I always imagined "Direct TV" to be years ago. Is just really convenient.

What a great story! I did the same thing when I was 25, similar at least. I hated my job, and really asked myself what I wanted to do with my life, unhappy in accounting and I picked up and moved to Napa to attend culinary school. It was a whirlwind but there is no time like the present!
