I really really really hate the sound of a ringing phone, esp. the work phone.

Ah yes, the sound of the work phone. *Shudder*. The worst was at my old location, when the phone had a similar ring as my phone at home. I would start dreading the sound of the phone at home. And I would almost answer the home phone with my work voice and salutation.
