I'm with you here. Don't know why they bothered with the "no driving while on a cell phone laws" (to name one attempt at some control) when no one seems to follow them and they're not enforced.

Tried to play Cribbage on Pogo for a badge Wed. night but even after reading their how-to I still don't get it so, it kind of sucked and I've given up on it. There are better things to do (and many other games to play) than be annoyed by one game.
(borrowed the photo from the interweb, that box on the right wasn't present during my game, maybe it would've helped)

I think I tried to play this one for a badge once. Or maybe just to see what it was like. Didn't get it either. I fully agree: much better things to do and more fun games to play, that to bother with a game you don't like.

I think I'd like the ability to remember everything I see, hear, and read, so a digital memory w/playback would be useful.

I have a very good memory when it comes to certain things to the point people think it is weird that I remember so much. It's kind of debilitating because people think you are crazy you remember so and so's birthday or middle name, so and so someone you met once etc. Then I have a hard time remembering faces, but once I know who they are I can recite most of a conversation we had months ago. It's a blessing and a curse.

It's not new, but it was new to me, steeped bay leaves have anti-inflammatory properties (among other things) and drinking some (with a little honey) has helped me during my bout of bronchitis. Just a good thing I had a ton of it (bay leaves, never use them in cooking though I should).
New beverage I guess would be the chamomile/bay leaf tea mixture I had. Chamomile is also an anti-inflammatory, among other things. All good.

@stephie: I only really know bay leaves from (hearty or spicy) soups, so I have a hard time imagining this flavor. But I will try some next time :)

I don't like horror, used to when I was younger (books too), but now the images stay in my head and bother me. I don't like campy/snl overthetop overly exaggerated, dumbed down kind of movies, or spoofs. Just annoys me. There are exceptions, like Spaceballs, I don't know why that's OK but Ace Ventura or something similar irks the hell outta me. I don't like movies that are one big huge lie played out to the very end and then bammo, truth comes out and all's OK. (can't think of an example of that offhand but there are many). Hm...there's a lot of movies out there to dislike. What a waste of effort and revenue, and for us who had the misfortune to watch one of those, time.

I consider my onion soup to be a work of art (b/c it's awesome, even if I don't make the "proper" way w/the mozzarella/etc rounds and what not) but it's not artsy looking.... how about the purple soup? Made pretty by the purple cabbage.

I wear what I call "hang-around-bang-arounds".... which are usually regular clothes that are too worn for most outside occasions. Anything stained (but clean), holey, too big/small also qualifies. Most are quite comfy, and all worn to death.

Nope, I'm not very organized. This doesn't include the boxes upstairs, the older hardcovers on my shelves upstairs, or the current book(s) I'm reading. (and I want more! never too many books). Doesn't include the many I've read. That's on LibraryThing (the ones I remembered anyway).

We seem to do the shoe thing a lot, maybe it just feels that way. My faves / most worn haven't changed. Usually show the Malindi's, those are for work mainly. My at-home fave are these (Ithaca. In winter I wear them with socks, just not outside) but of course, they don't sell them anymore. Umpteen other types of thongs, but not the ones I like the best. Of course. Last pair of these in use currently. How sad.
