i first heard this when i was around 4-6 years old, before i went to school, they were airing a long beatles marathon every wednesdays on television. they showed "If I Fell" and i really thought it was the most beautiful song i have ever heard. nice video, too - very funny.
*this isn't the video i saw... the original video i saw was almost the same as this only people were taking out their equipments one by one. if anyone here can point me the video, i would be really happy.

when they asked me what i wanted to be when i grow up, my first answer was a SCIENTIST. i love that they can figure things out and they're so smart, i wanted to be like them. Also because I wanted to look awesome wearing a suit and a lab coat everyday to work. "Look at me, I'm doing work and I look awesome and smart at the same time... would you like to borrow a pen from my coat pocket?"
Despite studying programming, I ended up becoming a creative, an art director doing interactive work. I still think I could have made it, though : ) So I try to pretend I'm smart, while doing work, and trying to look good with a suit but it's not the same if I had been a scientist : )

when i was young i borrowed this book in the school library. i never read it. i had troubles going to the next school-year due to this book's late fees... eventually, my dad paid for it. i never read a book again until i was 22 due to the trauma this book gave me.

This was given to me as a farewell gift when I left a previous agency. It was illustrated by a past colleague and yeah, it was supposed to be me wearing my "I am unique!" shirt from threadless... also and my prominent paunch. I thought it's a very accurate portrait of me.
On the other side is a collection of signatures and stuff from colleagues. This is more awesome than getting something that I can buy myself.
I was told during a drinking session that the reason why it was made like a round doll thing was because he wanted to say that even if life is hard, i will always bounce back. Why the hand is reaching out is very obvious.

these are my... comic books. the first one is the one on my bedside table: cinematic storytelling and a year's subscription of Victor by Hasselblad... i really love stories, films and writing scripts in general. i wish i can do that for a living (if only i was good at it)

Gaki No Tsukai is my favorite thing to watch when I am hungover on the weekends. There's nothing like watching someone get shot in the ass with blow darts to make your morning 100 times better. Man, I love those guys.
