I am not home today, I am stuck here at work for my 24 hour shift. Therefore I only have this one book with me. This is a good book because of all the information inside. I have learned a lot from reading it. The only problem is that it is a bit boring to read, is about 1000 pages and has the tendency to put me to sleep.

you're kidding me! i LOVED this book. I thought the protagonist's dilemma as played out in the denouement was just heartbreaking!
But seriously... I see you're a fireman. Wow, that apparatus handbook is 1000 pages? Do you learn more from your colleagues about the apparatus or the book?

You learn the book way, and the science behind it from the book. Then you learn the way we operate the truck, and estimating friction loss on the job.
