@noiselesspenguin: there is a fan behind the hardrives. it's hard to see in this photo. the black thingie up left is actualy a RPM regulator for that fan. all three drives has almost constant temperature around 32 deg. Celsius. motherboard is low-power via epia, that generates almost none heat..

@tombstone: ah! thanks. all I could make out was a solid wooden box w/no holes... considering how hot @a_noob 's server gets I was a bit puzzled, great bit of attractive and practical work.

@kolomona: not this one, but many similar. It's kinda my dream, to have one big ass server hidden in closet and one or two of those in every room..

@armidaduran: the blue thing on top is a very thin carpet...makes it look not like a computer ;-)
