My Uverse DVR / high speed internet. Internet is practically a utility. Yeah I could probably do without TV, but I've dealt with homebuilt DVR with BSOD issues for the last 3 years, let me have my fun

So my TiVo is wavering on its last legs, but I hated the cable company DVR I had a few years ago. The interface was terrible. How's Uverse in that department?

nonlinear_time: not too shabby. Used to run beyond TV which had great searching. I can search for shows and actors, but not by keyword. Sometimes it records old shows even if I have it set to only record new shows. It has 3 speed fast forward, 30 second skip, previews channels in the guide. It records 4 things at once, and having extenders in the other rooms is nice. Only thing I really care about is stability, of which it is (only had to reset it once since I got it 6 months ago). If Uverse is available in your area, I would get it.
