Actually, you only have to make 1000... And the legend is if you complete that, you will be granted a wish..... I've done it, don't know about the wish part yet....

My favorite line from this book,(or maybe it was "The Drawing of the Three"...) that I quote to myself OFTEN is-- "Control the things you can control, let evertything else take a flying f**k at you. And if you must go down, go downwith your guns blazing..."

Japanese legend says if you fold 1000 Origami Cranes, the Gods will grant you a wish. I intend to fold another 1000 by the end of 2010.
