My favorite books of Paulo Coelho are "The Alchemist" and "11 Minutes". I read both those books at least 3 times. "Brida" is a bit disappointing. I've read 50 pages or so, but I can't really get into it.

@philman911: Woops...a bit of a late response, but...You're not boring me at all. I feel kind of honoured that somebody somwhere on this earth is trying to make the flowers as well :). The thing is...I don't know if I can explain well in words, so if you don't understand, I'll make some pics while making it.
Did you figure out the first pattern? If you did, then you need to make 5 more (so 6 in total). They don't fit into eachother. You have to lay them next to eachother...if you do that correctly you get the flowershape. You need to glue them on a piece of paper and when the glue has dried, you can cut the pattern with scissors and then it should be finished :).

@x-u: So I'm probably boring you to death...Sorry. We started with a square piece of paper. We got the diamond shape but what the heck do you do next? My daughter and I are trying but have failed to figure out the next move. Should we start with a square piece? What's next? Thanks for your help.

I find it hard to give a good translation of the title. Any Dutch ppl wanna help? The closest translation would be "They seem to be people as well", but it doesn't cover the real meaning behind it.
It's written by a journalist who lived in the middle east as expat. It's a "behind the scenes" book and he gives many examples how we are manipulated by the media. It is very interesting! Unfortunately, there's no English translation.
