It's so great that you posted this. My charge asked me today about bees and stinging. I became an impromptu Pangloss and said that maybe bees sting because we need them so much to pollinate plants, and without that defense we might kill too many for them to be useful to the flora or the world.

If bees didn't sting I wouldn't be afraid of them and then definatly wouldn't kill them! They are awesome.. but I'm bee-fobic!! Haha.
