I've experienced plenty. Now they've got to be pretty big (over 4.4) for me to notice them. Loma Prieta 1989 was the "big" one I felt. My dad had just made me flip from "Gimme a Break" to the World Series and I was pissed. Almost as soon as I changed, the picture went out. I was sitting by a number of windows and my mom and dad were on a couch which happened to have a couple of pictures hanging over it. I picked up the 2yo girl my mom was babysitting, threw her on the couch with my parents and then held the two pictures in place until the jolt stopped. All school was cancelled for the rest of the week and the amusement park I worked at was closed that weekend. No damage to the house and only one thing fell. The most memorable thing about it was that it was LOUD.

Nothing. As a kid I never gave thought to being anything as an adult. I also never thought about marriage or any of that business. I still am not sure what I would want to be if I worked.

This guy worked with my dad at IBM for decades. He used to weigh, I'm guessing, 400+ lbs. There was a picnic once at a local park that had a train and he took my younger brother and me to ride it. On the way back he held each of our hands and I remember being terrified by his size. He had dark hair then and the beard was longer. He also had on overalls.
